Rowan Tweed

Knitted this into a 24 colour Kaffee Fasset jacket - blends with so many other colours
Knits as DK but different textures in the yarn to provide the tweed effect
The yarn does thicken then go thin but it hasn't broken while I have been knitting

I like all wool knitting yarns. The is a very good product and looks good when knitted.

I usually love rowan wool but I found the quality of the tweed in the Settle colour very poor. It keeps going really thin and breaks very easily. I've gone ahead and knitted with it but I hope now that it won't affect the strength of the garment. I have just used one of the balls so far and am hoping the rest are not the same. Should it be like this? There doesn't seem to be any twist in it.
